How long does the ViT remain visible to tenants on the website?

After activation, the listing remains online for up to a month. *But it should be deactivated as soon as you’ve rented it, so tenants stop trying to contact you.

Can Viewit.ca send a photographer to come and take pictures?

Yes! Please contact us and we’ll schedule a photographer to drive to the property for a 15 minute photoshoot.

How long after the photoshoot will it be before my ViT goes online?

Your vacancy should be online by the end of the next business day.

Are there ways to increase exposure to my listing when it's on Viewit.ca?

Yes! Options include being a featured vacancy or being shown first to tenants. Click Increased Exposure Opportunities for more info.

Can I make a link from a Viewit.ca listing to my website?

Absolutely - in the description of your ViT you can link to your personal website.

How do I make changes to my ViT, or deactivate it from Viewit.ca?

Once a new listing has been created (or an old one reactivated) then you will receive an “Activation” confirmation email from Viewit. It contains a link that redirects you to the “Edit your Listing” section on Viewit.ca *No login is required, the email has a unique link to that advertisement. From this “Edit your listing” section, you can change the text, add/reorder the pictures and video, deactivate the listing, and more. *The listing remains on file for future use once deactivated.
